Pattsy Rogers Sellen, of Genoa, died on September 6, 2024. She was born in Nellie Powers' hospital in Sherwood, New York on March 2, 1944, the daughter of Ralph and Charlotte (Stockton) Rogers.

Pattsy graduated from King Ferry Central School in 1962 and was a member of the Ledyard Methodist Church. She worked at Cornell University, retiring from there in 2007. She volunteered at the Moravia Thrift Shop, the King Ferry Food Pantry, Genoa Rural Cemetery, and SCCS Boosters.  

Pattsy is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard D. Sellen; three daughters: Pamela Landon (Chad), Jennifer Dean (Bunky), and Rebecca Sellen (Matt); grandchildren: Alexcis Hower, Rachel Landon, Nicholas and Nathan Thurston; her brother, Russell Rogers (Becky); nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pattsy was predeceased by her mother, father and brother, Ralph.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 - 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 15 at the Locke Fire Station, 1050-60 NY-38, Locke. 

Contributions in Pattsy's memory may be made to the King Ferry Food Pantry, P.O. Box 242, King Ferry, NY 13081, or to Southern Cayuga Instant Aid Ambulance (SCIA), P.O. Box 7, Poplar Ridge, NY 13139.
