Normand Richard (Rick) Mainville

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Normand Richard (Rick) Mainville on Nov 7th 2025.

Rick was born in Ithaca on April 22, 1959 .

Rick is survived by his wife of 31 years, Christine (Aston) Mainville, of Ithaca, NY; his children: Jonathon Freund (Jessica Iacovelli), of Newfield, NY, and Christle Towner-Henriques (Carlos Henriques), of Colorado; his brother, John (Yvonne ) Mainville, of Freeville, NY; his sister, Jean (Paul) Gerbasi, of Lansing NY; his two granddaughters, Lylia and Sage Freund; along with several nephews and nieces that he was truly very proud of.

Rick is predeceased by his son, Karl Mainville, and his parents, Laura and Norm Mainville.

Rick worked many years for Maguire Ford in Ithaca NY, until he moved on to his favorite hobby of motorcycles, working for many years afterwards for Harley Davidson of Corning, NY. From there, Rick and Chris moved to San Antonio, TX to help open a Harley dealership. Upon their retirement, they moved to Winter Haven, FL.

Conversations will be missed, but knowing that he is at peace and within the loving arms of his son and parents, we also know that he’s happy.
