Karen Lynn Brown

Karen Lynn Brown, 66, of Groton, passed away on November 9, 2025 at Cayuga Medical Center.

Karen was born on February 28, 1959 in Syracuse, daughter of the late Ronald J. and Shirley (Chapman) Fish. A lifelong area resident, she was a graduate of Homer Central School, Class of 1977.

Karen had served as Pastoral Minister at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Groton, and she had worked additionally as a school bus aide for Groton Central School. She enjoyed collecting and dealing in antiques, and was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony's Church. 

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Darrell E. Brown; her children, Bryanna Wood (Jason) and Mathew Brown (Caitlin Redfield); and brothers, Mark Fish (Jill), of Fuquay Varina, NC and Brian Fish (Pamela), of Waukesha, WI.

Friends may call from 12:00 Noon - 1:00 PM on Friday, November 14 at St. Anthony's Church, 312 Locke Road, Groton. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the calling hour at 1:00 PM with Rev. Frank Lioi as Celebrant.
