Jessica A. (Hutchings) Peer

Jessica A. (Hutchings) Peer, 41, of Cortland, passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2025.

Jessica was born on March 23, 1984 in Cortland, daughter of Timothy and Patricia (Benjamin) Hutchings, of Cortland, who survive her. A lifelong area resident, she attended Groton Central School and had worked in previous years at the Dandy Mini Mart in McLean. Her biggest hobby was tending to flowers! 

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children: Joseph Snavely, Patrick Snavely, Juliannah Peer, Iiesha Peer, Cerenity Peer, Gabriella Peer, and Dale Osborn, all of Cortland; a brother, Justin Hutchings (Kool-Aid); and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Mike Hutchings, on June 25, 2022.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with the Shurtleff Funeral Home, Groton, and online condolences may be shared with the family at www.shurtleffservices.com .
