Fred L. Stannard

Fred L. Stannard, 61, of Moravia, passed away on January 19, 2026 at Auburn Community Hospital.

Fred was born on June 27, 1964 in Ithaca, a son of the late Fred William and Nancy (Woodard) Stannard. He was a graduate of Trumansburg Central School and had served for six years in the US Navy.

He worked in sales for several years at Carquest Auto Parts in Lansing. He was a fixer and tinkerer of all things mechanical and technical, and he especially enjoyed simulator programs.

He is survived by his wife, Cora (Faatz) Stannard; children: Brandon Faatz, William Stannard, Anna Stannard and Britney Stannard, all of Auburn; and his ten grandchildren.

At Fred's request, there are no public services.
