Edna M. Bouck, 88, of Groton, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024 at the Groton Community Health Care Center.

She was born January 21, 1936 in Auburn, a daughter of the late Edward and Hazel (Armstrong) Flynn. Edna was a lifelong resident of the Moravia-Locke area, and retired after many years as a cook with the Moravia Central School District. She was a charter member of both the Moravia VFW Auxiliary and the Four Town First Aid Squad. Before her husband's passing in 2020, Bill and Edna spent many years on the road with their 5th wheel, living in Arizona in the winters, and they traveled through almost all the 50 states. Edna loved traveling, going out to eat, going to different casinos, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Charles Lee Bouck (Brenda), of Weedsport, Thomas Stewart Bouck (Petra), of Champaign, IL, Ann Marie Thomas (Bob Traphagen), of Freeville, Gary Alan Bouck (Donna), of Summerhill, and Hope Elaine Counts (Kenneth), of Groton; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Gloria Dunham; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Willis R. "Bill" Bouck, and by her sister, Thelma Zmarthie.

Joint services for Edna and Bill will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Shurtleff Funeral Home, 103 Lincoln Avenue, Groton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 - 2:00 PM, preceding services. Interment will follow in Bird Cemetery, Locke.
