David George DuMont died at home on November 13, 2022 in Leesburg, FL.

He was a life time resident of Groton, NY until 2021. He was an entrepreneur who created many successful businesses in Groton, including the Ice Cream Caboose, American Storage Trailers, and Surplus Depot.

He was born on July 13, 1939. His parents, Russel Walden DuMont and Florence Mosher DuMont have predeceased him. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Samson; daughter, Ruth Caswell; and grandchildren: Parker, Aspen, and Mason Caswell.

Private interment services were held on July 30, 2023 at Cortland Rural Cemetery.
