Chester E. "Chet" Ferguson, 66, of Genoa, passed away on July 19, 2025 at Upstate University Medical Center in Syracuse.
Chet was born on December 20, 1958 in the Panama Canal Zone. He attended Thousand Island Central School and was a proud veteran of the US Army. He had resided for many years in the Genoa area, where he owned and managed several properties.
He is survived by his children, Hailie Markovitz (Daniel), of Hockessin, DE and Hayden Ferguson, of Genoa; two grandchildren, Lennox and Beatrix Markovitz; his mother, Jane (Santamore) Ferguson Esposito; a brother, Eric Ferguson (Marion); sisters, Cynthia Rossi (John), Denise Bragger (Fred, predeceased), Mary Ellen Saur (Peter), Phyllis Lukowski (Edward, predeceased), Patti Jane Burns (Jerry), and Felicia Guter (Steve); and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Phillip Ferguson; step-father, Angelo Esposito; and a brother, Gregory Michael Ferguson.
